I am a member of an RYA Youth Team at my local sailing club. On the triangle to the right of this text, there are many
stages that youth sailors must go through to get to the National Youth Team. Although I am only on the 1st stage, I feel that
I am a reasonably competant sailor. I do not suppose that I shall get any further than a club Youth Team but you still get
a very good feeling that you are helping your club to win competitions.
I highly recommend that anyone who has done a junior course in sailing joins their local youth team.
